For Honor - The Dance of the Cranes

Next to the majestic birds, on the grassy plains of the Myre, beneath the rainy gates of heaven, the heroes of her people have gathered, wielding weapons for the sake of their own myths.

I have been working on this drawing since late February 2018.
To be honest I underestimated the size of the illustration before I went into it and only found time to add it together bit by bit.
I used every reference material that I found and nvidia Ansel was a very good friend of mine.
At the beginning of May Ubisoft announced a For Honor fanart contest and immediatly deep dived back into the illustraion.
I really enjoyed to work on it as everything came together just like pictured in my head.
