"Underneath the cursed Torii gate’s shadow, on the outskirts of the hanging village where neither light nor life now reached, her Masakiri would once again gleam crimson. And she knew, that these warriors were no more than a pebble, chipped off the stairs where she now stood, on the way of her frozen solace. Accompanied only by the wailing of the souls of both the famed and the nameless, she would once again walk into the clutches of her foes, to deliver that which gave her meaning."

Drawing this has been an extremely long and wild journey.
It started off with a tweet, an idea by @empJnapo followed by creating a photoshop collage with Nvidia's Ansel tool which I then partly rotoscoped to get the composition/poses.
60hrs later I am very proud to share the full thing with you.
