For Honor - Saori

Been a day or two since I drew something for For Honor but after I saw Nobushi‘s new Hero skin I was taken aback to time when I started to take drawing a bit more seriously. (Little lore about me)
I am convinced that back in the day my first Nobushi artwork netted me my first professional commission with Ubisoft. Even though I was far from the level that I am now they something in my art and kept hiring me for more projects. It kind of clicked with me back then and I didn’t stop to draw ever since.

This artwork in particular was super exciting to draw.
I tried a new coloring style and took inspiration in @yuming_art‘s(instagram) beautiful illustration and also referenced one of @theposearchives(instagram) poses. Definitely one of the best reference resources that you can find here on instagram.
The colors and the use of water color brushes were quite the new territory for me but I LOVE the way it turned out.
