Decided to rework/redraw one of my OG Nobushi artworks. That illustration, the old one from 2018, probably kickstarted my semi-professional art career. It simply started with a fun idea to give an originally masked character a face and play with the design a bit. Didn’t think that it would resonate with the community in the way it did and also reach the developers of the game.
It’s funny, I remember that I was so proud about it, especially the sketch and didn’t see any flaws…well, until yesterday when I decided to draw the face cause I felt I could do better.
After drawing for some time and hiding the edited artwork it really hit me like a truck…“damn that looks different“.
You can always feel good within the level that you are in but the great thing about art is you can always improve and I love that about it <3
oh and new For Honor art in 2025, crazy huh? :D

I already got the Nobushi and the Valkyrie.
